Description

Arduino Camp will introduce you to physical computing using the Arduino board and take you all the way to building a robot to compete in the Robotics Hackathon afterwards! No prior electronics or programming experience is required and food will be provided based on your ticket type.

The highly recommended text is Massimo's book, Getting Started with the Arduino (link goes to Amazon). I will be displaying excerpts of the book during the class.

If you don't have an Arduino, you can purchase one here. You should bring a laptop, Arduino (or freeduino) and a USB cable. You can pick and choose which sessions you'd like to take.

The day will be structured in the following order:

  • Organization of the Arduino's memory
  • Types and Variables / Structured Programming
  • Functions & Libraries
